Music at St. Paul's

Continuing a long tradition of music excellence, St. Paul’s offers several places to be
involved in music ministry. These include:

Chancel Choir- our adult choir performing a variety of music from classical to
contemporary. New Singers are always welcomed. No audition necessary. Rehearsals
are Wednesdays 7-8 pm plus Sunday morning mini rehearsals 45 minutes ahead of our church services. Our Director of Music Ministry, Diane Schutz has served at St. Paul’s since 2006.

Choral Scholars- Our choir scholarships High School and College students seeking to further their music studies. These scholarships are funded by our wonderful church family and a few fundraisers.

Praise Team/Band- We are currently in the process of using our Praise Team members once a month at our 10:30 service. We are always looking for instrumentalists and singers to lead this ensemble.

Ring and Sing- A multi-generational music ensemble. Plays Handbells, Sings and
features children ages 7-99!!! They rehearse on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm

Cherub Choir- is our young children’s music ensemble. Kimberly Burgos is their new director. We are so excited to help them prepare for a true nativity celebration on Christmas Eve at the 3:00 service. Stay tuned for more wonderful singing from these cherubs! Ages 2-7

St. Paul’s Orchestra- Meets 3 days for rehearsals before Sunday performances. These occur 2 times a semester. Dust off your instruments and come join in the fun. We add community musicians for more balanced instrumentation.

Volunteers, Donors, and Supporters make our music programs function! To find out more about any of our programs reach out to Diane Schutz.
